Marelise, contact Auto Alpina MINI in Boksburg. I think they are your closest dealer.
Contact details on the official MINI website at http://www.mini.co.za
MINIpassion.co.za is not affiliated with MINI South Africa. We are a community website, and as much as we’d love to, we don’t sell cars.
What happens with regards to 12 month insurance offer if one is younger than 30???
Then you will be required by MINIFinance to provide adequate insurance cover i.e. you will pay your own insurance. Your dealer will help you source insurance.
hi im currently driving an opel astra 2007 model and would love to know if trade in is allowed or not.
what will be my monthly instalments if i put a deposite of 30 k and how much will pay at the end to take over ownership?
Again, MINIpassion.co.za is not a dealer. Follow the link at the end of the article to locate your closest dealer.
Speak to a dealer.
When does this offer expire
The offer is stock dependent. A certain amount of cars are in stock and a certain amount of new cars will be built financed on this deal.
Hi
i’ve got one question in mind…. the question is after 54m do you own the car or you must return in for a trade inn?
After 54 months you give the car back, having rented it and you have no further financial obligations, permitted you have stayed within the mileage limit.
Or you can keep it and refinance the residual.
That’s ma problem i dont understand the residual term… can you explain further please.. im very interested
thanks
The Residual is the amount owing after the initial finance agreement has lapsed, ie how much you owe the bank after effectively renting the car over 54 months.
If you want to take ownership of the car you will have to pay that residual once off or refinance it.
The MINI Monster deal enables you to drive a new MINI Cooper for R2999 a month and then give it back without worry, as long as you keep within the mileage limit over the period. MINIFinance will buy the car back from you, settling the residual. If you are over 30 you qualify for one year’s free insurance.
For more detail contact your dealer.
Thank you so much for the clearification and your time..
i’m sure you did not only help me but alot of us..
job well done (thums up)
have a great day..

Hi, I just wanna know since most of the dealership in Gauteng don’t have cars they say they’re expecting stock in June, by the looks of things there just few cars for this deal. Will they still conside monster deal when they do receive stock?
The deal will end soon. I am not sure whether it will still apply in June. I assume that the deal is also only valid for cars on the floor. Ask your dealer if it would apply on a car you order and wait for. Unfortunately I have no solid answer for you at this time, but I will find out.
Bubu, MINI SA have reverted with the following answers:
1. The deal is only valid for cars in stock, and for cars arriving at dealers before the end of June 2011
2. The offer will end on 30 June 2011, or when all qualifying cars in stock now or before end June 2011 are sold – while stocks last
Listen out for a special deal on the Cooper S Hatch, launching 2 May 2011.
I m really interested in the mini, pls advice if I can arrange my owm finance for the car. Also advice on insurance available.
Tshepo, to take up the above special offer, you must finance through MINI Finance. Naturally, you can arrange your own finance, but I doubt you’ll be able to beat the Monster Deal, especially if you consider the guaranteed buy-back and the interest rate offered. If you are over 30, you will qualify for 1 year’s free insurance if you take up the Monster Deal, otherwise the Finance & Insurance consultant at your local MINI Dealership will be able to assist you with insurance.
haai….i m interested in one of cars that are on special but i can not contact you….bcoz there are no conctact deatails on ur website,so please contanct me on 0799184900 or btmlmokhabi@yahoo.com. thanx
Boitumelo, if you read the article and the comments below, you will see that I am not a dealer and that I have referred multiple people to their dealer or to the Official MINI website.

Hi…just want to know if there are still mini’s available on the special price of R2999 per month.
Hi Ronell
Nope, but starting August 1, you can lease a MINI One for R2899 per month. See our post http://minipassion.co.za/2011/07/21/mini-one-finance-deal-r2899-per-month/
Hi…Does the new mini one also have the one year insurance for free deal.
Thanx
Ronell
I don’t think so. The Finance and Insurance manager at your dealership will be able to tailor insurance to match your budget and risk profile.
Hi..How does one know if u qualify to finance the mini one.
Nel
Hi Nel
Ask the F&I person at the dealership to qualify you. This will give an indication, but the only real way to find out is to sign an offer to purchase and submit your finance application to the bank.
Hi
The cooper s for 3899 is the deal still available and does it come with the free insurance for a year.
Thanks
Nell
The MINI Monster Deal ended June 2011.
